Claude AI experienced a possible outage Wednesday, according to Downdetector.com.

More than 2,000 users had reported problems with the platform as of 1:03 p.m. PT, according to Downdetector, which tracks outages by collecting status reports from multiple sources.

Most users who reported an issue to Downdetector said that they had issues with Claude Code.

The platform’s status checker says, “We are currently investigating this issue.”

Update at 1:07 p.m.

More than 3,000 users have now reported an issue with the platform.

Update at 1:13 p.m.

More than 5,000 users have now reported an issue with the platform.

The status checker still says that Claude is investigating the issue.
