Authorities in Mariposa County seized multiple firearms, nearly 48 grams of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia during a law enforcement operation this week in the Coulterville and Greeley Hill areas, according to the Mariposa County Sheriff’s Office.

The sheriff’s office said its MINT Team conducted proactive enforcement efforts that resulted in the removal of several firearms from the possession of convicted felons.

Deputies also seized approximately 47.5 grams of methamphetamine, recovered multiple meth pipes, and other drug paraphernalia, and arrested two people.

A photo released by the sheriff’s office showed several long guns, handguns, ammunition, and suspected narcotics among the items seized.

The sheriff’s office did not immediately release the names of those arrested or details about potential charges.
