Update: The Clovis Unified School District said that the shelter-in-place order has been removed from both schools. The district, in collaboration with the Clovis Police Department, confirmed that the suspicious phone call was not credible and did not pose risk to students.

Clovis High School and Clovis Elementary School were placed under a shelter-in-place order Friday morning as police searched for a threat on the campus, according to the Clovis Police Department.
Police said at 8:57 a.m. that officers were searching for a threat in coordination with Clovis Unified School District officials.
The Clovis Unified School District confirmed the shelter-in-place order and said that the threat stems from a suspicious phone call directed at the high school.
The shelter-in-place order follows a similar order issued Thursday at Clovis high and elementary schools.
Authorities and school officials said they take all threats seriously.
