A multi-agency law enforcement operation took place Thursday morning across Fresno County as officers served search warrants at numerous homes tied to ongoing violent crime investigations, according to the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities said the operation involved multiple law enforcement agencies and focused on residences connected to active violent crime cases.

The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office emphasized that the actions were not related to immigration enforcement and said the agents involved were not affiliated with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, commonly known as ICE.

Officials said additional details about the operation will be released at a later time.
