Detectives with the Madera County Sheriff’s Office were serving two search warrants Monday, authorities said.

The activity was taking place near Avenue 18 and Road 18, and near Avenue 18 1/2 and Road 19, according to a public notice from the sheriff’s office.

Officials said the suspect of the investigation had been detained and there was no immediate danger to the public.

Authorities advised people to use caution in the area while law enforcement personnel remained on scene.

No other information was immediately available.
