Two men were arrested Wednesday after Visalia police seized methamphetamine intended for sale and several firearms while serving a search warrant at a home, authorities said.
The Visalia Police Department’s Narcotics Unit, assisted by the Homeless Outreach Proactive Enforcement Team and the Tulare County Agencies Regional Gun Violence Enforcement Team, served the warrant shortly after 7:30 a.m. on the 2800 block of West Orchard Court, police said.
During the search, officers found methamphetamine intended for sale, two rifles, and a homemade “zipgun” firearm, according to police.
Code Enforcement officials later declared the residence unsafe to occupy.
Police arrested Lance Mitchell, 56, on narcotics and firearm charges. Alejandro Ulloa, 43, was also taken into custody on an outstanding warrant, authorities said.
