Mell’s Mutts has a gentle giant-in-training ready to steal hearts — and maybe a little couch space, too.
Koko, a 6-month-old puppy already weighing 50 pounds, is expected to grow to about 70 pounds when fully grown. Despite her size, the young dog is described as quiet, shy and exceptionally sweet.
“She is definitely a big girl,” Mell’s Mutts said.
Koko has been with the rescue since she was 8 weeks old and has quickly shown off another standout trait: brains.
“She is also VERY SMART,” the rescue said.
While she may be a little timid at first, Koko loves people, enjoys playing with other dogs and peacefully ignores cats, making her an easygoing companion in a variety of homes.
Now entering the lanky, lovable stage of puppyhood, Koko’s caregivers hope she finds a forever family soon so they can enjoy watching her continue to grow up
“She is growing up fast and we want her to find her forever home so her family can still appreciate her puppy hood,” Mell’s Mutts said.
