Clovis Police Make 2 Arrests During Loma Vista E-Motorcycle Enforcement Operation

Clovis Police conducted a proactive enforcement operation in the Loma Vista area Saturday afternoon following recent complaints about reckless driving and delinquent behavior involving juveniles near Shaw and Leonard avenues.

Police said officers contacted more than 20 juveniles during the operation, which focused on education and safety.

During the enforcement detail, one juvenile riding an electric motorcycle fled from officers and was later arrested, according to police.

Police reported the following results from the operation:

  • 21 enforcement stops
  • 2 arrests
  • 1 citation
  • 19 warnings
  • 1 tow
  • 24 juveniles contacted
  • 5 adults contacted

Clovis Police said proactive enforcement efforts will continue to address unsafe driving behaviors and improve community safety.
