The Old Administration Building Auditorium at Fresno City College will be the scene of Fresno Filmworks newest venture, the MENA Film Festival, on Saturday.
MENA Film Festival
When: Saturday, 1:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Where: Old Administration Building Auditorium, Fresno City College
Organizers promise an afternoon and evening of powerful storytelling from the Middle East and North Africa.
The event features three films that illuminate the lives, struggles, and humanity of people across the MENA world.
Tickets are $10 per film or $24 for a festival pass to see all three films. Tickets may be purchased online through this link or at the door.
Free parking is available on campus.

Here is the schedule:
1:30 p.m. — The Voice of Hind Rajab (2025, Dir. Kaouther Ben Hania | 89 min)
Synopsis: Jan. 29, 2024. Red Crescent volunteers receive an emergency call. A 5-year old girl is trapped in a car under fire in Gaza, pleading for rescue. While trying to keep her on the line, they do everything they can to get an ambulance to her.
4 p.m. — Calle Málaga (2025, Maryam Touzani | 116 minutes)
Synopsis: When her daughter arrives in Tangier to sell the family apartment, a fiercely independent 79-year-old Spanish woman fights to keep her home.
7 p.m. — It Was Just an Accident (2025, Jafar Panahi | 105 minutes)
Synopsis: An Iranian auto mechanic kidnaps the man he believes tortured him and gathers fellow ex-prisoners to confirm his identity, setting off a darkly comic thriller about doubt, persecution, and revenge.
