A man was arrested Sunday morning after police responded to a report of a male with an AR-style rifle at a Target store in Porterville, authorities said.

Porterville police said officers were called at about 9:06 a.m. to the 1300 block of West Henderson Avenue, where they located the suspect near the self-checkout area. The man was detained and found to be in possession of a replica rifle, police said.
