The San Francisco 49ers lost another key player to injury early in the season, as defensive end Nick Bosa suffered a season-ending torn ACL against the Arizona Cardinals at Levi’s Stadium.
At this point, San Francisco hasn’t put Bosa on injured reserve, but 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan confirmed that the move is coming.
In response, the 49ers announced a quarter of roster moves on Wednesday, including the promotion of defensive end Robert Beal Jr. from the practice squad to the active roster.
They’ve also released defensive back Derrick Canteen from the practice squad and signed defensive end William Bradley-King and safety Jaylen Mahoney back to the practice squad.
