A driver crashed into the back of a spray rig on a rural Fresno County road after becoming distracted by a cell phone, the California Highway Patrol said Thursday.

No injuries were reported in the collision, which happened as the farm vehicle was traveling legally along the roadside.

Authorities say the incident serves as a reminder to stay alert, especially in agricultural areas where tractors, spray rigs, and other equipment often share the road with passenger vehicles.

Motorists are urged to slow down, give farm vehicles plenty of space, and avoid distractions while driving.
