Police in Sanger are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 17-year-old girl last seen on Saturday.

Kaylani Thompson left her residence in Sanger during the afternoon and has not been seen since, according to the Sanger Police Department.

Thompson is described as a Black female, 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing 130 pounds, with brown eyes and curly black hair.

Police said her hair may be braided with extensions. She was last seen wearing a white top, black shorts, black shoes, and white socks, and was carrying a full-size white backpack.

Investigators believe she left in a white sedan, possibly a Chevrolet Malibu, with unknown license plates.
