Fresno police detectives want the community’s help to solve the shooting death of 24-year-old Taylor Washington on April 10.

When officers responded to a Shotspotter activation near Bardell and George avenues at about 5 p.m., they found Washington with multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to Community Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

Evidence gathered by detectives suggests that the assailant shot Washington in the street before the victim fled and collapsed in a backyard. Detectives also found several vehicles struck by  gunfire.

The suspect and the motive for Washington’s homicide are unknown by detectives, but they believes there were people who saw or heard the gunfire and would like to talk to them.
