Fresno County Active Wildfire Grows to 45 Acres

A wildland fire burning in the Yokuts Valley grew to 45 acres on Tuesday, CalFire reported.
The blaze, dubbed the ‘FORD’ Incident, was first reported in the area of Kings Canyon Road near Crawford Avenue.
Battalion Chief 31 was the first to arrive and initially reported approximately 10 acres burning up the mountain with a moderate rate of spread.
The fire has since expanded to 45 acres. Crews remain on scene working to contain the flames. No structures have been reported as threatened.
