A felon was arrested Monday after police found weapons, drugs and stolen property during a search of a Fowler home, the Fowler Police Department said in a statement.

Fowler Police officers and the Fresno County Sheriff’s MAGEC team executed an evidentiary search warrant at a residence.

During the search, officers found two rifles — including an assault rifle — a handgun manufacturing parts, a large quantity of ammunition, processed marijuana, and stolen property, police said.

One of the two residents, identified as a convicted felon, was arrested and booked into Fresno County Jail on multiple felony charges, police said.

The second resident was also taken into custody on unrelated misdemeanor warrants, authorities said.
