Exiled Iranian Crown Prince Visits Israel as "Messenger of Friendship"

Reza Pahlavi, the exiled crown prince of Iran, visited Israel this week. Pahlavi participated in both a Holocaust memorial service and a visit to a desalination plant, as well as meeting with representatives of Israel’s Bahai community and Iranian Jews.
Israeli Intelligence Minister Gila Gamliel praised Pahlavi’s decision to visit Israel, stating that it symbolized “a leadership different from that of the ayatollah regime, and leads values of peace and tolerance, in contrast to the extremists who rule Iran”.
