Effective last Saturday, All Valley Administrators and Retirement Plan Consultants merged into Nexus Administrators, Inc.

In a news release announcing the merger, Nexus said it will have more credentialed and certificated staff members than just about any other firm of its size in California.

Combined Assets

“Nexus Administrators, Inc. combined metrics represent 1,800 total plans, 125,000 client employees, 80,000 plan participants, and $1.8 billion in plan assets supported,” said Tom Tsaris, AVA president in an email to GV Wire℠.

In Fresno, 39 people will work in the headquarters office. Employees of the two firms are continuing to work in their respective buildings until the end of the year when they combine into one office.

Client Services

Nexus said that it will serve a client that has one employee or 30,000, and plans are tailored to the employer’s needs.

Stephanie Copner, chief executive officer of Retirement Plan Consultants, said that clients will find “little changed, except a number of enhancements that will benefit their plans.”

The combined experience of the two companies represents over 100 years.
