The field of candidates to become the next Reedley College president is down to two, and the public can learn more about them through public forums next week.
Both forums will take place at Reedley College’s Student Center on Tuesday, Jan. 29.
The first public forum will feature Reedley College interim president Donna Berry. It will run from 9:15 a.m. to 10:15 a.m.
Jerry Buckley will talk during the second public forum, which will run from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
To find potential candidates, the State Center Community College District used the services of the Association of Community College Trustees to conduct a nationwide search, said Lucy Ruiz, the district’s executive director for public and legislative relations.
Here’s a look at each candidate’s career:

Donna Berry

Berry has been the interim president of Reedley College since July 2018 and was vice president of administrative services at Reedley College for nearly seven years.
