The Madera County Sheriff’s Office reported late Tuesday night that 29-year-old Dau Christopher Pham was found dead in the Oakhurst area.

Authorities said that foul play wasn’t suspected in Pham’s death but didn’t release additional details.
He had been reported missing last week and thought to be possibly headed to Bass Lake or Yosemite.
“While this is not the outcome anyone had hoped for, we are grateful for the unwavering commitment of everyone involved in the search,” the Sheriff’s Office said in a statement.
