Clovis residents were left without electricity Thursday after an unplanned power outage affected 1,916 customers, according to outage information.

The outage was reported to PG&E at 4:42 p.m. PDT. Utility officials said crews are actively inspecting the electrical system to identify damaged sections and make repairs needed to safely restore service.

The cause of the outage is under investigation. PG&E described it as an unplanned disruption and said restoration efforts are underway, including inspections and repair work in the affected area.

A restoration time has not been determined.

According to outage tracking information, power is currently off for all affected customers in the Clovis area as crews continue working to restore service.
