Fresno Police Arrest Suspect in Fatal Shooting Outside Sun Stereo Warehouse

Fresno police have arrested a 19-year-old in connection with a March shooting that left a 38-year-old man dead outside a downtown venue, authorities said.

On Friday, March 20, at 11:16 p.m., Southwest Policing District officers responded to Sun Stereo Warehouse at 736 Fulton Street regarding a shooting victim, according to police.

Officers located Meharie Kidane, 38, suffering from gunshot wounds and provided medical aid before he was transported by EMS to a hospital, where he was later died.

Homicide detectives determined several individuals were at the location for a gathering and were escorted outside the venue following an altercation inside, police said. Investigators identified Kamyah Bolden, 19, as the person responsible for the killing.

On Thursday, Fresno Police Department Tactical Team members and officers assigned to the city-wide Violent Crime Suppression Operation arrested Bolden.

Bolden was booked into the Fresno County Jail for murder, police said.
