A more than two-week search in the eastern Sierra Nevada has yet to find a missing climber, the Kern County Sheriff’s Office said Wednesday.

Volunteers with the China Lake Mountain Rescue Group joined a multi-agency search on Wednesday, Sept. 17, for the missing climber.

The search teams, which also included members of the Inyo and Mono County Search and Rescue units, focused on the rugged terrain around Temple Crag near Glacier Lodge and covered substantial ground, authorities said.
