A man was arrested Thursday after police discovered methamphetamine, stolen firearms and an active DMT lab at a home on the 2500 block of South Mendonca Street, authorities said.
The Visalia Police Department’s Narcotics Unit, with help from the HOPE Team and the Tulare Area Gun Violence Enforcement Team, served a search warrant around 10:15 a.m.
Officers reported finding a half-pound of meth, two stolen guns, and a working lab used to manufacture DMT.
The Tulare County HIDTA team was called in to safely dismantle the lab.
Lance Mitchell, 55, was booked into the Tulare County Adult Pre-Trial Facility on multiple drug and firearm-related charges, police said.
