A Visalia man was sentenced Friday to 145 years to life in prison for multiple counts of child molestation, the Tulare County District Attorney’s Office said in a statement.

Joshua Hernandez, 35, was convicted in October 2024 on charges including sodomy, oral copulation, sexual penetration, and lewd acts with a child under 14.
The crimes occurred between 2014 and 2019 in Tulare, involving a victim who was between 8 and 12 years old at the time.

In addition to the prison sentence, Hernandez was convicted of possessing child pornography and sentenced under the special allegation of substantial sexual conduct.
Thirty-one of the 32 felony counts are considered strike offenses.

Hernandez will also be required to register as a sex offender for life.
