The Tulare County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a grand theft involving trailers and grape-picking equipment stolen from a vineyard near Avenue 360 and Road 52 in Traver, according to a Sunday afternoon statement.

Authorities believe the theft took place between Thursday and Saturday.

Deputies responded to the scene just after 10 a.m. on Saturday, after the victim arrived to find the trailers missing.
The trailers, which were staged for pick-up after a harvest, were taken by suspects who gained access to the vineyard and drove away with the equipment.
