A single-engine plane tipped nose-down after landing at an airport in Madera on Thursday afternoon, Madera police said.

Police said the plane entered the airport area and landed before its brakes locked up. The aircraft then went off the runway and tilted over along the side of the runway.

The pilot, who was the only person aboard, was not injured.

Madera police contacted the Federal Aviation Administration following the incident.
