Former President Donald Trump has announced a “major interview” with Tesla CEO Elon Musk, scheduled for Monday. The news comes as Trump continues his campaign for the 2024 presidential election.
“ON MONDAY NIGHT I’LL BE DOING A MAJOR INTERVIEW WITH ELON MUSK — Details to follow!” Trump posted on his Truth Social platform.
Musk, who has not yet commented on the interview, recently endorsed Trump following an assassination attempt at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.
The interview follows Trump’s recent 22-minute conversation with video game streamer Adin Ross, during which Ross offered Trump gifts including a Rolex watch and a Cybertruck wrapped in a photo from the assassination attempt.
Musk’s support for Trump marks a shift in his political stance. The tech mogul previously voted for Democratic candidates, including President Joe Biden, in the last three election cycles. However, Musk has expressed frustration with Democratic policies, particularly regarding labor unions and immigration.

Despite his endorsement, Musk stated earlier this year that he would not contribute financially to either Trump’s or Biden’s campaigns. “Just to be super clear, I am not donating money to either candidate for US President,” Musk wrote on X in March.
The upcoming interview comes as Trump faces competition from Vice President Kamala Harris, who recently announced Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz as her running mate.
While details about the time and platform for the Trump-Musk interview have not been released, it is expected to be a significant event in the lead-up to the 2024 election.
