Fresno police arrested a 20-year-old man in connection with the fatal shooting of a 17-year-old and are searching for two additional suspects wanted on suspicion of murder.

Officers responded about 10:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, to a reported shooting at an apartment complex near Ninth Street and Bulldog Lane.

Police found a 17-year-old boy who had been shot multiple times. Officers and emergency medical personnel provided lifesaving measures before he was taken to Community Regional Medical Center, where he later died.

Homicide detectives arrested London West, 20, of Fresno, on Thursday in connection with the killing. He was booked into the Fresno County Jail.

Detectives also identified Denim McVey, 18, and Jaheim Packard, 16, both of Fresno, as suspects. Police said McVey and Packard remain at large and are wanted on suspicion of murder.

The investigation remains ongoing.
