Visalia Fire Crews Contain House Fire, West Tulare Avenue Closed

Firefighters contained a residential structure fire Wednesday afternoon at a home in the 1700 block of West Tulare Avenue, according to the Visalia Fire Department.

The fire was reported at about 1 p.m. Firefighters arrived to find a single-family home with heavy fire and smoke showing. Crews brought the blaze under control in about 15 minutes.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

West Tulare Avenue is closed between Bonnie Avenue and Divisadero Street while crews remain at the scene.

Officials are asking the public to avoid the area.
