The Visalia Rawhide and On Deck Partners are bringing a two-day concert festival to the Central Valley this fall, with the Rawhide Music Festival set to transform Valley Strong Ballpark into a live entertainment destination.
The festival, presented by Groppetti Automotive and Momentum Broadcasting, is Oct. 24 and Oct. 25. Tickets are now available, with prices ranging from $55 for general admission to $242 for VIP packages.
Day one of the festival will feature a yet-to-be-announced act. Regional Mexican act Los Tucanes de Tijuana, with special guest Tapy Quintero, is set for day two.
Adding Events at Valley Strong Ballpark
The festival is designed to bring the community together while expanding the use of Valley Strong Ballpark, organizers said.
“We have long been committed to bringing community and music together, whether it was through our iconic JUGFEST, bringing artists to the beautiful Fox Theater, or simply to the streets of Visalia,” said Don Groppetti, president of Groppetti Automotive and managing general partner/owner of Momentum Broadcasting.
“We are proud to continue this commitment and are happy to be collaborating on the Rawhide Music Festival.”
Julian Rifkind, chief operating officer of the Visalia Rawhide baseball team, said the event is an opportunity to create a new community gathering place.
“To bring world-class entertainment like Los Tucanes de Tijuana and other dynamic artists to our ballpark during the off-season is a tremendous opportunity to connect with new audiences,” he said.
