Fresno Police Arrest Man on Rape, Kidnapping Charges

A 26-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of multiple felony charges, including kidnapping to commit rape, rape by force or fear, sodomy, and sexual penetration by force, according to arrest records.

Jose Leon was arrested at about 11:08 p.m. Sunday after an alleged incident reported to have occurred Friday at about 10 p.m., according to arrest records.

The Fresno Police Department said that they could not provide comment on the case but could confirm the charges.

The Fresno County jail records also show that he is charged with sexual battery and two counts related to stolen vehicles.

Bail amounts listed for the charges total $265,000.
