Tulare County Utility Pole Crash Leads to DUI Arrest

A driver was injured and arrested on suspicion of DUI after crashing into a utility pole on Reservation Road east of Chimney Road, according to the California Highway Patrol. (CHP)

A driver was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after crashing into a utility pole Wednesday night in Tulare County, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officers responded to a single-vehicle crash on Reservation Road, east of Chimney Road.

Following a DUI investigation, officers arrested the driver on suspicion of DUI.

The driver also suffered injuries in the crash.

The CHP reminded motorists not to drink and drive and to designate a sober driver.
