A boating collision Wednesday afternoon at Lindey’s Landing RV Resort left one woman with minor injuries, according to the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies responded at approximately 3:54 p.m. to the resort, where investigators said a flat-bottom boat and a jet ski collided after both operators attempted to avoid each other but were unable to prevent the crash.

One woman aboard the boat suffered minor injuries and was transported for medical treatment.

Tulare County Sheriff Mike Boudreaux reminded the public to stay alert, follow boating laws and practice safe boating habits while on the water.
