Taco Bell is serving up a mix of nostalgia and new flavors this summer, rolling out a menu refresh that combines street-food inspiration, loaded comfort food and a returning fan favorite.

The fast-food chain’s June lineup is led by its new Fajita Street Chalupas, a street-style take on classic Tex-Mex fajitas.

The handheld item pairs seasoned peppers and onions with either grilled steak or slow-roasted chicken inside Taco Bell’s crispy, cheese-lined chalupa shells. Creamy jalapeño sauce and an onion-cilantro blend round out the flavor profile.

The fajita theme continues with Chicken Fajita Nacho Fries, which layers the chain’s seasoned fries with chicken, peppers, onions, multiple cheeses, sour cream, nacho cheese sauce and jalapeño sauce. The result is a fork-and-knife meal that borrows from both loaded nachos and sizzling fajita platters.

But the biggest news for longtime Taco Bell fans may be the return of the Enchirito.

Part burrito and part enchilada, the menu item combines seasoned beef, refried beans and onions wrapped in a flour tortilla before being covered in red sauce and melted cheddar cheese.

The Enchirito has developed a loyal following over the years and periodically returns to menus after being discontinued.

For dessert, Taco Bell is introducing Cinnamon Sugar Churros nationwide. The bite-sized treats feature a crisp exterior coated in cinnamon sugar and are being added to the chain’s value-focused menu offerings.

At select Live Más Café locations, customers can also find a Strawberries & Crème Chiller, a frozen drink blending strawberry flavors, vanilla ice cream mix and sweet cream cold foam.

Lucky in Kentucky

Meanwhile, Taco Bell’s test kitchen continues experimenting with regional offerings. In Louisville, Kentucky, the company is testing a $3 Chili Cheese Menu featuring a burrito, nachos and a rice bowl built around the chain’s longtime chili cheese flavor combination.

The new menu reflects a familiar Taco Bell formula: blend classic Tex-Mex influences with indulgent fast-food favorites while occasionally bringing back discontinued items that have earned cult status among customers.
