Police in Madera are asking for the public’s help identifying a man suspected of taking a customer’s personal property that was left behind at a local business.

The Madera Police Department said the unidentified man was captured on surveillance video.

Authorities did not specify the type of property taken or the name of the business.

Anyone who recognizes the man or has information is asked to call police at (559) 675-4220 or contact Crime Stoppers at 498-STOP.

Callers can remain anonymous, police said.
