Firefighters in Tulare County rescued a group of ducklings trapped in a storm drain and reunited them with their mother, officials said.

Tulare County Fire Department Engine 7 responded to a report of ducklings stuck in a storm drain in front of a new fire station under construction on Robinson Road and Betty Drive in Goshen.

When crews arrived, they found the ducklings trapped inside the drain while the mother duck remained nearby, acting frantically.

Firefighters removed the storm grate to access the ducklings and safely pulled them out, officials said.

A total of 10 ducklings were rescued and later reunited with their mother at a nearby park.

Captain Stout, Fire Apparatus Engineer Carrasco, and Firefighter Aguila carried out the rescue.
