Reddit Goes Down for Thousands of Users, Downdetector Shows

Reddit experienced a possible outage Tuesday, with thousands of users reporting issues, according to Downdetector.com.

More than 12,000 users had reported problems with the platform as of 4:08 p.m. PT, according to Downdetector, which tracks outages by collecting status reports from multiple sources.

Most users reporting problems to Downdetector said they were experiencing issues with the mobile application.

Update at 4:22 p.m.

More than 18,000 users have now reported an issue with Reddit. Reddit’s status page currently shows no issues.

Update at 4:32 p.m.

More than 23,000 users have reported an issue with the platform.

Update at 5:01 p.m.

User reports have slowed regarding issues with Reddit.

Update at 5:39 p.m.

After nearly 30 minutes of low reports, more than 700 users have submitted issues with Reddit. The platform’s status page shows that “all systems operational.”
