The Clovis Police Department responded to 7,619 calls for service in June, according to the agency’s monthly Spotlight report.
Police said officers made 443 arrests during the month, including 35 arrests on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol.
Patrol staff also took 85 collision reports, while officers documented 37 vehicle burglaries and thefts from unlocked vehicles and six residential burglaries.
The department’s Public Safety Dispatchers answered 3,371 emergency 911 calls in June.
Clovis Police said the monthly Spotlight series is intended to provide the community with a snapshot of department activity.
The department also encouraged residents to report crimes in progress and suspicious activity immediately, lock doors and set alarms, use exterior lighting and security cameras, avoid leaving valuables in public view, check mail daily, watch for card skimming devices, keep records of valuable items’ serial numbers and remain aware of their surroundings.
