Merced Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a man suspected in a strong-arm robbery at the Shoe Palace in the Merced Mall on Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2025. (Merced PD)

Merced Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect in a strong-arm robbery at the Shoe Palace inside the Merced Mall on Tuesday, authorities said.

Police released a photo of the man and urged anyone who recognizes him or knows his whereabouts to call (209) 385-6998.

The department thanked the community for its support and said any tips could assist the investigation. The case number is 25-66398.
