Authorities are asking the public for help locating a 50-year-old woman from Coalinga who has been reported missing under suspicious circumstances, the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office posted on social media.
The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office began investigating Isabel Lucas Velasco’s disappearance on Sept. 13, authorities said.
Velasco, described as 5-foot-1 and 145 pounds, was last known to be in San Luis Obispo County on Sept. 12. She has ties to Coalinga and Visalia.
Detectives have seized two vehicles connected to her disappearance and are seeking witnesses who may have seen the vehicles or captured them on surveillance cameras on Sept. 12 or 14 near Coalinga and Avenal, particularly along Highway 198 west of Coalinga.
