Detectives with the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office are investigating an armed robbery that occurred Wednesday night at a gas station in Earlimart.

Just before 9:30 p.m., deputies responded to the Speedway Gas Station in the 200 block of East Sierra Avenue, where two armed suspects reportedly entered the store.

Authorities say the suspects approached two customers and a store clerk, demanding wallets and cash at gunpoint.

The suspects fled the scene in a blue vehicle, possibly a Kia, police said.
