Fresno police have arrested two women in connection to two separate shootings that targeted the same female victim over a span of four days, authorities said.
The first incident occurred on May 10, when officers responded to a one-round ShotSpotter activation near Marks and Alamos avenues.

Officers contacted the residents and confirmed that no one had been injured. Investigators say the female victim had been standing at the front door when Destiny Perez, who was known to the victim, handed a gun to another woman, Esbeydi Flores, and instructed her to shoot.
The victim fled before any shots were fired.
Just three days later, on May 13, officers responded to another ShotSpotter activation, this time detecting three rounds.

Authorities determined the same victim’s home had been struck by gunfire. Officers recovered multiple shell casings at the scene.
