The Fresno County Sheriff-Coroner’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating the family of a Fresno man who died earlier this month.

Navjit Singh, who would have turned 32 years old on Thursday, died of natural causes on May 17 near Clinton and Weber avenues, officials said.

Singh is described as 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing 185 pounds. He had a scorpion tattoo on his right bicep, the initials “NS” on his right forearm, and a tattoo reading “Love You Mom (heart) Dad” on his left forearm.

Despite searching numerous personal records, staff at the Coroner’s Office have been unable to find any of Singh’s relatives.

Got a Tip?

Officials say contacting immediate family is necessary to release the body and allow for a proper burial.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the Coroner’s Unit at (559) 600-3400 or email coroner@fresnosheriff.org.
