Police are searching for a man who robbed a Cricket Wireless store at gunpoint in central Fresno on April, 19, authorities said on Monday.

The robbery occurred around 6:45 p.m. at the store located at 3071 East Shields Avenue, according to the Fresno Police Department.


Officers said the suspect entered the store, approached the counter, and demanded money while displaying a handgun to employees.

The man fled on foot with cash from the register, heading west through the Foods Co. parking lot.

The suspect is described as a male adult last seen wearing a black hoodie, black cargo shorts, black socks, and gray Nike shoes.
