Fresno Unified Career Expo

When: Thursday, Feb. 6, 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Where: Golden Palace of Fresno, 2625 W. Vassar Ave., Fresno, CA 93705

The event has historically focused on teachers but expanded this year to cover all career options in the district.

Fresno Unified hopes to connect community members with careers best suited for them. The opportunities include transportation, teaching, food services, and leadership positions.

“We are excited about this broader focus and look forward to a successful event that could become a new tradition,” a district spokesperson said.

The district invites everyone — from students to seasoned professionals — to explore Fresno Unified’s offering. This includes district employees seeking promotion options.

Attendees will be able to meet with various departments and university representatives to plan their possible future and build professional relationships. The expo will educate and inform individuals on career and educational opportunities — accessing resources and information needed to map out a path tailored to them.

This event primarily focuses on providing information, networking, and creating connections with Fresno Unified staff and university partners. It offers a valuable opportunity for attendees to explore career pathways and build professional relationships,” district officials said in a news release.

Those who attend are advised to “dress to impress.”
