Visalia Police Seek Public’s Help in Finding Missing At-Risk Man

Visalia police are searching for Manuel Ignacio Mendoza, 72, who has been missing since Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2024, night and is at risk due to dementia. (Visalia PD)

Authorities are searching for a 72-year-old Visalia man who has been missing since leaving his home Wednesday night.

Manuel Ignacio Mendoza, who suffers from dementia, was last seen in Delano at 9:07 p.m. that day, according to Visalia Police Department officials.

Mendoza left his home around 5 p.m., driving a tan 2003 Mercury four-door sedan.

Mendoza is 5-feet, 7-inches tall, 160 pounds, with brown eyes and gray hair. He was wearing a black sweater, gray pants, and a black hat when he was last seen.
