Missing Yosemite Hikers Miguel Delgado and Ana Rodarte Found Safe and Sound

Yosemite Search and Rescue, along with CalOES and CHP, successfully located missing hikers Miguel Delgado and Ana Rodarte on Monday afternoon, Yosemite National Park officials said in a Facebook post.

Authorities said they expected the hikers to be reunited with their families sometime later on Monday.

Authorities are searching for Miguel Delgado and Ana Rodarte, who were last seen leaving Yosemite’s Bridalveil Creek Campground for a day hike at approximately 10 a.m. on Saturday.

The pair was believed to be heading toward Ostrander Lake and planned to return within a few hours but have not been seen since.

Miguel Delgado, 63, is described as a Hispanic male, standing 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighing 160 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a brown jacket with blue accents, an orange T-shirt, tan pants, and carrying a backpack.

Ana Rodarte, 40, is a Hispanic female, 5 feet 7 inches tall, and weighs 198 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes and was wearing a gray windbreaker jacket, green pants or jeans, and a blue ball cap at the time of their disappearance.
