Roosevelt High School hosted a screening of the documentary “Hopeville: How to Win the Reading Wars” on Tuesday, April 16.

“This is the way to go to improve the reading proficiency of all students and it’s not rocket science,” said Fresno Unified School Board President Susan Wittrup of the ideas and lessons featured in the documentary. “We just have to launch it and execute it.”
