The 2026 FIFA World Cup will see six of its matches held at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, the home base of the San Francisco 49ers. The stadium will host five group stage matches in June 2026, followed by a round of 32 match in July.
The expansion of the soccer tournament to 48 teams across 104 matches is a first for FIFA in 2026.
The tournament is a tri-hosted event, with the United States, Mexico, and Canada sharing the responsibilities. However, all matches from the quarterfinals onwards will be held in the United States.
The U.S. Men’s National Team will kick off its campaign at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, while the final match will take place at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. All 11 U.S. stadiums hosting matches are NFL team homes.
